45 days and counting...

...well 45 days until March 1st.

Then we should start getting posts of people who got in and did not.

I won't wish anyone luck, because I don't really believe in that...but I hope we all get what we deserve and what we hope for..although the two may often be incongruous at times.

Thanks. Exilio! When you put it like that, it doesn't seem interminable.

Wow, it sounds so close, but still so far away.

Actually, you probably won't be getting your UCLA decisions online until mid-March, so it's more like 60 days and counting...

Don't kill the dream flopsy!! Dreamkiller.. >.<

transfer won't get the decision until May 1st...=(

According to the UC web site, transfer student's may know as early as March 1st.

"For Fall applicants who apply during the November filing period, admission notification will occur from March 1 through March 31 (for freshman applicants) or April 1 through May 1 (for transfer applicants)."

Straight from the UCapplication.net site; I hope we all get in!

March 1st is still a possibility for transfer students.

This info is more up-to-date:

http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/after_apply/after_decisions.html

"Admissions Decisions*

If you are a fall-term freshman applicant, each campus you applied to during the filing period will notify you whether you have been admitted generally between March 1 and March 31.** If you are a transfer applicant, the campuses may notify you anytime between March 1 and May 1. **You can refer to each campus's admissions website for more information about notification.

These notification dates apply only to applicants for the fall term who file during the November 1-30 filing period. Fall applicants who file late or applicants for winter or spring should contact the campus Admissions Office regarding admission notification periods."*

does getting a lot of mail from a UC school mean ur pretty much in?

No...pretty much in means, your in. ;)

You will know. What you are getting now, any student can pretty much get I believe.

maan dumb question soo..i already know that UC is done reviewing my app (cuz admission officer emailed me with a question once) and i dont think im getting any type of mail in particular so rejection? haha.

Depends...was the question they asked: "You think you can get into UCLA?!". ;)

That might be a bad sign.

dang, i didn't think the admissions officers would actually contact the people they were reviewing. What did the admin officer ask you?

oh i messed up on my app and put the wrong graduation date. she thought i graduated last year and i was missing something but i already cleared it up with her

If I recall it toook UCLA until mid may last year with the transfer decessions.

I know people who found out in April.

Usually people who find out in April are declared engineer majors.

Whoops, I've lost track of time. They usually find out AHEAD of time, not after the scheduled date.

The people I knew were pretty much either science (non-eng) majors or humanities.
