I can either have class at 8:45am three times a week or have 45 minutes for lunch three times a week. I prefer the latter, but I wonder if 45 minutes is enough time if I need to go from the Gross Chem Building to the Physics Building. Also, are we allowed to eat in class?

Gross Chem to Physics is like a 2-3 minute walk, and there's food in the BC on the way. That's plenty of time, and most teachers will let you eat in class if its around lunchtime. You're probably better off with the latter. I've done lunch in <15 minutes walking from public policy to Teer and stopping by MacD's in the BC on the way. Pubpol is right next to Gross Chem, and Teer is on the other side of Physics.

yeah, I agree with what Joe said. That actually works out really nicely... you get out of chem, go over to the BC, grab some lunch, and then mosey on over to the physics building. I like it.

I heard they were replacing the Dillo with something else...sighhh...I hope they don't.

I doubt it. I was on the dining committee first semester, and while I wouldn't be privy to any last-second changes from second semester, Dillo wasn't on the slate for being changed. Further, Dillo is not managed by Aramark, so it won't be affected by the change to Chartwell/Bon Appetit.

The things that will change are the Marketplace, Trinity Cafe, Great Hall, Subway, Chick-fil-A, and Freeman center. How they change, I'm not sure - in the cases of Subway and Chick-fil-A, it will probably only be different management. Marketplace/Trinity Cafe is being totally overhauled, and the Great Hall will be different, but I don't know how different.

What is the upperclassmen version of the Marketplace, if that question makes sense.........?

We have the Great Hall. The difference is that we aren't required to eat there, it's not all-you-can-eat, and there are a few vendors in there (Q-shack comes to mind). Freshman can get stuff in the Great Hall as well, but it will still cost them food points.
