4800 Club?

Anyone else out there close to 4800 if not at 4800?

what do you mean by 4800?

2400 SAT I
Three 800s SAT II

Only one school in the world requires three Subject Tests.

Someone could have taken 3 SAT IIs in one sitting, thinking they will send their top 2… but end up getting 800s on all of them. Otherwise, I think it would be a waste of time going for a third 800 if you already have 2 heh

^ I think having another 800 doesn’t hurt.
By the way, is there really a point in bragging?

Um yea I agree with poster above. What is the point of this thread…?

This is not true. I quote from an Asian university’s website (http://www.nus.edu.sg/oam/apply/local/singint/BYA-singint.html):

I stand corrected. :)

I find that high scorers on this website are fairly common as I have seen around six 2400s so far. I was trying to see if 4800s are equally common.

I don’t know about 4800, but christiansoldier has an 8000, as in a 2400 on the SAT and 800 on 7 Subject Tests.

^ I should probably note, however, that he merely had six of them when he applied to colleges. :)

^I do hope you’re joking.

I doubt those who do accomplish such scores would bother promoting themselves in a thread like this.

She is joking, but christiansoldier DID have 8000

If you’re referring to me, I should point out that the gender of your pronoun is off. :)

Please tell me christiansoldier got into HYPS.

He got into Princeton and Stanford but was rejected by Harvard, Yale, and MIT. He will be attending Princeton. You can find his complete stats here.

At non-Score Choice schools like Yale, he might have been hurt by his retaking. (He retook 2380 on the SAT and 790 on Chemistry.) Everything turned out fine for him in the end, though.

^Why did he take the ACT twice when he already had a 2400 SAT? Do you know?

^ I’m not sure when he took the ACT.
