4th Quarter Seniors!

This is the last 7 weeks of our high school careers. Any events you're looking forward too? Are you guys excited to be going to college? Do you know where you are going already?

I myself still have not made a decision yet, but I'm looking forward to AP week when we can skip classes and then graduation, then taking a relaxing 3 months of summer off before going to college!

I feel like a long and winding race is coming to it’s long-awaited end, but because I wanna maintain a 4.0 and because I slacked off a bit in AP Calc (93% right now), I feel like I need to sprint rather than coast to the finish line, which sucks.

But, I am looking forward to the ending. I think I will like the uni I’m attending from what I’ve heard about it and from the people I’ve talked to who are going there. They seem much more intelligent and attractive than what I would consider the “average” anyway.

Ugh. Wrong usage of “it’s.” Now, you see Senioritis is getting to me.

I’m finding it hard to keep any motivation. Every time I open a book to study it occurs to me that in a few months I’ll be working my @$$ off to keep a high GPA and I then I think “No use in stressing myself now” and continue to watch TV.

My 4th quarter started today. I’m so tired of high school it’s not even funny. My motivation is shot. I had a novel to read over spring break for AP Lit. Didn’t happen. I received the senioritis speech from 2 teachers today, I don’t think they realize they’re much too late. I want AP week to come so my AP Lit teacher can stop assigning me so much f’ing homework. I’m also going to be bursting with excitement when we start doing graduation-type things like our final assembly in May, receiving our yearbooks, etc.

Oh yea, yearbooks! That reminds me of the ‘Senior Mosts’ that we’ll get after spring break.

Hopefully, I’m graced with some sort of acknowledgment. Do you guys think you’ll win anything? Or do you not do that?

I’m so excited! I know where I’m going, and I love it! I’m so excited for my last everything. Last drama show, last band concert (where I will no doubt cry), last jazz band show (again, likely going to cry), and most importantly, LAST DANCE!!! I know some people on this site don’t do the whole prom thing, but I’m sooooooo excited!

■■■■ yessssssss.
i just have to get senior project & my french project over with -__-

I’m coming to the realization that I have ten days of school left and slowly freaking out haha.

I haven’t read a single book ever assigned in AP Lit. The student service in Gov gives me full credit on everything even though I don’t do *. Pre Calc is a breeze, 13% hw average 99% test average. Health class, lol. I give 0 *s. I’m so checked out at this point.

I’m a theatre nerd, my last musical ended recently. I cried.

The “senior superlatives”, as we call them, were already announced. I didn’t win anything, oh well.

My AP Lit teacher announced today that there was only 11 classes left between now and the exam. It was supposed to make us worried that we weren’t ready, but I just got excited.

I am so excited for school to be over. Can’t wait for my AP Calc test so I can check out for good. Though the fact that I failed Calculus third quarter might show that I did check out already. :stuck_out_tongue: I have no idea where I’m going to college, but I’m just gonna enjoy these next few months. I have a feeling the future will work itself out if you just let things happen.

Congratulations guys! We made it :)

I wish I had found this thread earlier. :(

^ Same.
My last weeks of senior year were very well spent. I ditched a few days; hung out and went to parties on school days; and lazied out in class. However, the last week of high school was depressed because I was going to miss some students and teachers I talked to on an almost daily basis, but now I don’t care. I can’t wait for our class reunion.

I’d like to think about college before class reunions…lmao. :P

well in retrospect, I miss my graduating class (good group). I wasn’t sociably my freshman and sophomore year and my senior year I did not ask the girl I liked to prom (I ended up not going), so that is something I’m always going to regret.
