<p>Haha as much as I’ve enjoyed reading this, I would just like to point out the ridiculousness of this conversation. Does it matter? I’d also like to point out that there are high chances that there are multiple other times when applications were posted, and just because no one on CC has mentioned another time, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. </p>

<p>Hey guys, I logged in and logged out a few minutes ago, and I got the “Good luck with all of your applications, and thanks again for applying to Duke!” message. However, I just logged in and logged out again, and I got the “You have our best wishes as you complete your senior year.”</p>

<p>Maybe I’m hallucinating, and I didn’t actually get the “good luck” message the first time. Has anyone else received different messages when they logged out? If so, that proves that these messages have no relevance whatsoever (and if not, I’m probably just imagining things).</p>

<p>Many ED’ers have already said that time doesn’t correlate to decisions. Yet people don’t listen. So this thread will be useless for next year’s applicants, who’ll still (most likely) freak out about the tiniest possible indication of acceptance/rejection. :slight_smile: It’ll be fun reading their reactions.</p>

<p>OK my choices haven’t changed but at first I was a bit luke-warmishly (NOT A WORD!) excited 'bout Duke because of its location and stuff!!! But this whole conspiracy theory assured me that Duke would be a fun experience with people like all of us!!!</p>

<p>My son was deferred ED in Dec. He had the same time as another student from his school that was accepted ED.<br>
Now his time is 1:16. He said that it means nothing.<br>
But I’m hoping that the 1:16 is meaningful . . .</p>
