Perhaps you swallowed too much shampoo while studying. :P

Yea you guys are right, he probably got a 1, my teacher said 0 (he was probably so angry at the guy that he didn’t really remember the scale/score), but if there was a score of 0, this guy would have definitely gotten it. And for the record, he’s not my “friend”, lol.

maybe they caught something from swallowing as well…

Did you have to pay to take the exams? If you didn’t, then whatever.

Did you self-study them?

I might be in the same situation as you. Who knows? I didn’t study as much as I should anyways.

dang $516 bucks down the drain

I threw up. That’s how hard I was crying.

=[ =[ =[ =[ =[ =[
you’re gonna make piggie cry
i’m gonna cry for you!!

Don’t worry, if it makes you feel better, I know a sophomore at Harvard now who was also accepted into Stanford and Cornell that got two 2s. And she’s fine :)

it’s not THAT serious where you need to throw up.

heh i had 690 posts

ahahaha. i did bad too. cmpared to everyone else.

i got 1’s too. its not the end of the world./

ShampooSwallower - I know how you feel.

Last year, my AP World teacher who was going to go grade the Exams called me up after school and guaranteed me that I would get a 5 if I did what I usually do in class. I ended up with a 3. It was a passing grade, but I was soo embarassed to go see that teacher again. Needless to say, I was so mad when my friends were talking about how they got 4’s and 5’s. I know that five 1’s are not the best scores, but I don’t think that is a reflection of who you are and what you are capable of in any way, shape, or form. The AP exams are designed to ‘trick’ you - maybe your teachers didn’t prepare you well? Maybe, you weren’t quite ready to take the exams due to other circumstances back in May? Things like this happen. I don’t want to shrug my shoulders at you, but if it’s any consolation, you probably would not think your life is over if it wasn’t for CC. I think, last year, when I received that 3, I was sooooo upset (in retrospect, more upset that I should have been) only because I knew there existed people who get straight 5’s through CC. I’m sure even with those less-than-stellar scores, you will get accepted into some good colleges, and your life will not be affected in the great grand scheme of things…

I hope you feel better…

People on CC say they got “5 fives” just to boost their egos. There are probably a lot more people who got 1’s here, me included (though I’m not sure yet).

i love you powerbomb

i love you too powerbomb
last year i got a 3 on world history …only ap exam

butttt…this year i got five 5s!!! wooooooo

Yea powerbomb that was a great way to put it. Whether it’s expectations or disappointment, the only thing that defines your character is how you react. You must realize that getting a 1 does not officially make you dumb, it’s what you do afterwards, like not trying to make up for it (good SAT Score, keep up your GPA, self study for those same tests next year if you can). It was kind of like when I got a 1230/1600 on my first SAT, and I’m high school valedictorian. I couldn’t take it, I had high expectations from parents, friends, teachers, etc, and whenever I heard of anyone getting higher, I had that “feeling”. Then I worked hard and got it up to a 1320, but then took the ACT and got a 32. Needless to say, if I had kept thinking that this low SAT score compared to others made me worse as a person/studnet, then I wouldn’t be successful. It’s just one test.

Just as a side note, you might as well talk to those teachers as soon as you can. IF not, you’ll be scared everytime you see them the entire year and want to avoid them. It’ll be worse if the teacher comes TO YOU and confronts you about it. Just walk in there and go with a funny mood and give a little apology and you’ll feel good about yourself. Good luck man, you’ll be totally fine.

lol very inspirational powerbomb and rahoulVA. trust me, some of the people who say they got all 5’s are lying.

^ u calling me a liar? and alot of ppl actually do get all 5s

SOME of the people who say they got all 5’s are lying. SOME. i do not doubt that there are people who have gotten all 5’s.
