This week we had been given a list of classes to register for for next year. Out of all the classes I chose the five I thought were appropriate which ended up being
Math: AP Calc B/C
English: AP English 3
History: AP US History
Language: AP Spanish 4
Science: AP Biology
I am currently a sophomore and would like to know if this seems to be unmanageable. Any advice and feedback would be helpful.

I’m taking 5 AP’s as a senior in addition to a college class and it’s a solid amount of work. I held a little over a 96/100 (4.0) up to junior year (when I had taken a total of 3 AP’s up to that point) and my UW average has dropped to a little over a 92. It’s hard. Just an FYI. If you’re planning on going to a Harvard or a Stanford, it may be necessary to show rigor from so early on. However, it’s not worth killing yourself by any means.

That is basically what I’m taking next year, except I’m taking AP Japanese and Calc AB. I think it really depends on teachers, and your personal work ethic.
