<p>1) “thus becoming” should be changed to “that it became”. The “so” found in the beginning of the sentence signals the usage of “so…that…”</p>

<p>2) Once again, the “that” found at the end of sentence signals that a “so” should be present in the beginning as well. “Sappho had so profoundly influenced…that she became…”</p>

<p>3) I’m not sure if you mean “auditory” or “those sitting”, when you state the answer is “C”, since you only specified three portions of the sentence.
Anyway, I believe the error is in “auditory”. An actor’s words are audible, not auditory. An adjective is required.</p>

<p>I looked up auditory and it was an adjective, so if auditory is incorrect, that would seem like a word choice thing, and that from what I know the word choice error rarely appears on official questions.</p>
