What are your stats? Did you study calculus in high school? What science classes have you taken?
Let’s try to evaluate your odds of NOT getting that major, provided you work very hard (= ask for Quiet floor or “healthy living” …)
Look into

(it’s in Mapple Hall, ie., the newest residence hall on campus!)

I don’t know if the maths courses I’m taking now are equivalent of the US calculus but I think it is kind of an advanced level
I think it is the equivalent of Calculus AB and some (juste some) content of the Calculus BC
You should go to NYU! seems like the best fit to me, especially if it’s affordable for you!
Okay, so in order to ensure your admission into CS or CSE, take Calculus 1, Physics 1, etc. Don’t try to skip science classes. Look into the ESL “freshman English” class (those are typically easier to pass for non native speaker). That’d be 3 easy classes for you, plus 2 other. CS/CSE at UWa is not a given but it’s also not impossible.
I also have some knowledge in coding and programming (Unfortunately We use the pascal language in class which is outdated copared to C++ and Java script). I’m learning the Java code as well.
You have funding for the first two years, but what about the last two years?
Estimated Cost of Attendance at NYU is over $70,000 for this coming school year. Cost go up about 5% each year, so you can expect that the Cost of Attendance will be around to $80,000 by your senior year.
I think I can afford paying 2 Years in NYU! Money isn’t really a problem without getting in any debts or loans.
I Just want to make my 4 years away from my country and the money i’m getting and paying worth it !
I’m looking for the school with best academics, post-graduation employability and Internship/co-op chances!
FWIW: NYU doesn’t have a great “campus” IMO.
I thought NE’s campus was very nice -great location. Way better than NYU.
My family all liked NE’s campus better that BU.
“post-graduation employability and Internship/co-op chances”
This is something that you need to ask about in your own country. Where you can work and where you can get internships here are limited by your international status. You need to be certain that the degree you earn here will get you a job after you graduate and go home.
Thank You all guys ! I have to make my decision tommorow and I think the choice is obvious !
I hope I’m doing what is best for my future.
If you have some last piece of advice to give me you are more than welcome!
This thread has been a great help, Thank you
