In CC, we are in fact talking about the most competitive law schools admissions - for the very reason that for many less competitive schools, admissions rates are so high that things such as transferring are not so important at all. The crux of (what I would argue to be) the most important arguments here are about the very margins of the most competitive law schools. Thus you cannot discount the Ivies - indeed, they may be the best illustration, because their competitiveness allows factors which may not be clear somewhere else to be seen clearly, due to low acceptance rates.</p>
