can i get the any credit for ap physics if i don't do the lab part?
and for people who have taken the lab part, is it hard?

You need to take the lab to get Physics 150 and 151 credit so you can go on to take upper level physics or if it counts towards your major. You still get 1 c.u. on your transcript, but it's basically a meaningless credit.

You can also turn it into phys 140/141 without the lab right?

^I think that might be only available for engineers.

PHYS 140/141 are ONLY for engineering students. All other students have to take 150/151 which is the same thing just with a .5 cu laboratory attached to it.

so for an SEAS (+premed--i need the labs) student to take just the phys150 lab first semester is ok?

most do to my knowledge.

If I got a 5 on AP Physics B and do not want to/need to take the lab components, will my transcript just show 2 C.U. in Physics 91 and Physics 92? In other words, are the 2 C.U. given for the lecture parts only even if the lab portions are not taken at UPENN?
