Ok, so I got a 5 on my Calculus BC exam as a junior this year. And I'm wondering if that really means anything. For me, the class was really hard, and I was uberly surprised and ecstatic with my grade.

But at the end of the day, what does it really mean? Will it help me at all with college admissions or anything? Even when my SAT I Math score was 640?

Maybe your high AP score could make up for a low SAT math score? If the rest of your application shows your appreciation for math and the SAT score looks very out of place you should be fine. Or you could retake the SATs. Or you’re not a math/science major, in which case you have nothing to worry about. :p

It means you can do higher level mathematics, but can’t do the things we learn in algebra 1 and geometry that are never used again except for one saturday morning:)

At least the SAT will be a piece of cake now that you’ve taken the BC test.

^ lol actually, the SAT has nothing on it that is anything like the BC test… the SAT gets tricky because it’s such un-advanced math. They just trick you into getting the wrong answer sometimes.
