<p>There are several five year programs not just a BA/MBA (the one mentioned at the above page). Unlike Northwestern, you do not apply for such programs at UIUC when applying for admission as a freshman. In fact, you usually don’t officially apply until you are a junior. However, if you want to start working toward such a program, it is imperative you discuss with counselor beginning no later than early freshman year because you have to plan a course schedule that gets you to the point in junior year where you are ready, beginning senior year, to take courses necessary for the combined masters program. Also, approval into the programs are not automatic as high grades and acceptance by the colleges will be needed.</p>
