Weren’t you attending UGA when you got suspended? What does the college website say about former student readmission policies?
If it was UGA, readmission is not guaranteed and application is required:
"Should your suspension (including time away from the University outside of your suspension period) result in your non‐enrollment at the University for one year or more, you will be required to apply for readmission to the University. Readmission is not automatic. Readmission will depend on (1) your academic eligibility, (2) your financial good standing with the University, (3) your compliance with all sanctions and fulfillment of all conditions of your suspension, (4) the University’s consideration of any disciplinary or criminal matters other than the conduct on which your suspension was based, and (5) satisfaction of all other requirements for enrollment at the University. "
@tdy123 Thanks for this. Well you guys can rule out one university but this kind of specific language lacks in any policy and guideline in my university
If you understood, 5 years ago as a college junior, what the consequences of a 3rd offense would be I don’t understand why you’re confused now.
If you tell us the name of your university we may be able to help you find regulations, but it’s unrealistic to believe that any selective college – which is what you claimed to attend – is just going to let someone who has multiple cheating offenses register for classes without some sort of discussion/application process.
@austinmshauri there aren’t any posted so you won’t have any luck. My lawyer already did that
Then I guess you’re left with the letter they gave you saying that another offense means expulsion.
Well, I doubt you will get back in after 5 years, on the bright side you can try an online school, frankly its a lot easier to get away with cheating…
I don’t know how many times and different ways people can tell you we can’t answer your question - call the school.
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
Closing thread. As said in the first response (and many times after), nobody here knows the answer. The OP needs to contact the school.
