50% acceptance for E.D. engineering??????????

<p>So I heard from my friend that 50% of the applicants who applied for early decision engineering get in, meaning that there is a 50% acceptance rate for E.D. for engineering. Is this true or false?</p>

<p>Maybe at certain schools.</p>

<p>The info that Naviance gives me for Columbia (not distinguishing between CC and SEAS) from my school is 55% acceptance for ED.</p>

<p>At Columbia College last year, the ED acceptance rate was 19%. At SEAS, it was somewhat higher–but did not come close to 50%.</p>
