<p>It’s not true that Chicago’s engineering students lead a peaceful life. Every year Chicago’s underground engineering culture pokes its pointy head into the light for Scav Hunt, and proceeds to go five days without sleep and often without showering. Screaming at each other and getting wrapped up in dark, paranoid fantasies about the judges. Trying to build impossible crap. Not peaceful!</p>

<p>I guess the thing that bugged me right off the bat was the title “50 Most Stressful Colleges.” It’s sort of like headlining an article “50 Best Sports Cars” and having the article about SUVs. Then again, as a former headline writer for my HS and College newspaper, I’m a well known stickler for details.</p>
<p>Their methodology is silly. It should be obvious why.</p>
<p>The fact that all five U.S. Service academies are absent from the list is reason enough to scoff.</p>
