I wonder if NJ will respond to this. Nevertheless, start below:

1: It didn't take us 100 years to win our first bowl game

2: Our private nature allows us to bypass the bureaucracy and to accept only the cream of the crop as far as admissions go.

3: We're not in New Jersey, the official armpit of America.

4: Condoleezza Rice, The Gipper, Rudy, and every other famous name associated with ND. Those famous Rutgers grads are....?

*Well, maybe the Gipper didn't graduate, but the name is clearly associated with ND

5 We do not have to score points in football games anymore

6 Jay Leno loves to talk about us every night (about the fact that we score zero points in every football game)

7: At least Jay Leno talks about us, and people actually give a damn about how ND is doing.

sportcenter seems to care about rutgers- as does the rest of the usa

9) the rest of the USA hadn't even heard of Rutgers until the went to the.....Texas Bowl? Yeah, that meekly one, last year.

football- ok- do you want to discuss your quarterback, your line, or your broken moral

One season is meaningless. It's like saying you're better than a straight A student just because that student got a C on a test and you got a B. Your D- average carries the day as far as comparisons are concerned.

What is a Rutger?

All I have to say here is Navy/Rutgers...if you don't know the story about their recent football game, then find it and read it. With the Navy/ND game coming up we will show Rutgers how to respect a school full of students willing to sacrifice their lives for our country. We will respect them fully without regard to the score of a football game. It will be a show of two schools with class...Rutgers...well, you have a LONG way to go there.

perfect analogy putsch

What did Rutgers do to Navy? I couldn't find the story.

yeah, I'm wondering that too...

During the recent Navy game at Rutgers, fans shouted "F-you Navy" throughout the game, threw things at the Navy players and jeered them during their fight song. So much so that it prompted a response from the Naval Academy's president to Rutgers with an apology back. Imagine the shame in treating a school like the Naval Academy this way...it's sick. Enough said.

That's why their Rutgers and always will be. Enjoy the 15 minutes in the lime light Rutgers who ???? Soon the novelty will wear off and you'll just be another school that's not ND.

Win or Lose GO IRISH............ Its more then just Football.

SMC is right; it is more than just football.
