<p>This is why some people call Americans “Fat Yanks”. Thinking about the best food in college lol.</p>

<p>It’s good though, i’m very picky with food. So i’d like some good tasting food if I was living in college.</p>

<p>My school isn’t on the list, it seemed very much geared towards tops colleges.</p>

<p>Anyways, the only unique thing we have is what is apparently the busiest McAlister’s in the country and the only full-service one on a college campus. The Food Services program is run by the campus, and it’s pretty good. There are two dining halls, the new one is definitely a lot better, but the older one is more convenient for a lot of the dorms and is cheaper. And there’s a cafe sort of thing in the Student Union, along with the McAlister’s I mentioned. </p>

<p>I’ve visited a lot of colleges and tried a lot of food, there is a definite improvement in quality when colleges have their own food service programs rather than using institutional catering companies like Chartwells or Sodexo (according to a Guilford College tour guide, they had just switched from Sodexo to running their own service, and one of Sodexo’s other clients is the North Carolina Corrections Bureau)</p>

<p>The absolute worst college food I ever had was at Catawba College. Not surprisingly, I later found it on the Princeton Review’s “worst food” list.</p>
