<p>I read an article somewhere that MIT had 5000 EA applicants....including questbridge ones, which probably accounted most for their increase. Do you think Yale did the same? b/c the boost from last years apps just sound sooo inflated.</p>
<p>I personally don't think that QB applications would add such a significant number to Yale's SCEA option. I think it's more the fact (1) we're the biggest graduating class in the history of the USA, and (2) Yale has an amazing new financial aid package to offer. These are probably what caused that number to rise more than anything else.</p>
<p>You can't forget about Harvard and Princeton shutting down their Early Action decisions. They went to all Regular.</p>
