<p>Brown has actually not yet released the rates of deferral and rejection for this year. The 12.7% that you are citing is last year's rate, so you're calculated deferral rate is also wrong. Brown only released this year's acceptance rate for ED in the article you cite.</p>
<p>tonyspizza1800 - You are absolutely right. My oversight. Brown has a tradition of deferring a lot of candidates. It'll be interesting to see this year's numbers.</p>
<p>yeah it seems like there have been a lot of deferrals from the posts on this board...of course, its skewed because most rejects aren't going to post that they've been rejected...but, yes, brown's deferral rate should remain high...</p>
