Well, I won’t discourage you. I took 5 AP classes as a sophomore and I got 4s and 5s on them!
The classes I took were:
AP Calculus AB (5 subscore)
AP Calculus BC (Score: 5)
AP Chemistry (Score: 4)
AP European History (Score: 4)
AP US Government & Politics (Score: 5)
Before taking these classes, I thought I was hysterical and an idiot for even thinking about stretching myself out like the way I did. However, I learned to adapt and I excelled! I had no experience with AP before my sophomore year, and I was not into history at all. In addition, I also learned to love subjects I thought I would absolutely hate (Political Science). Calculus and Chemistry were the hardest for me to handle, even when I considered myself “good” in those classes. Heck, I got a B in Calculus AB first semester. (But then I got an A in Calculus BC, yey improvement!)
When you learn to work hard, there is nothing that can stop you. So, go for it! You might be pleasantly surprised!
Best of luck buddy
