6 year ba/jd

when i logged in online and was accepted it said that the decision whether or not i got into the 6 year jd program would come with my acceptance packet..... i got my packet today and it made no mention of the program... does this mean i didnt get in? did anybody else get this information on their packet...? any help is greatly appreciated.

weird…I would think you would at least get a “rejection” letter if not accepted! You could post on the GW message board or call admissions tomorrow.

hi, i was in the same situation for the ba/jd program. In my admissions packet, there was no mention of hte program, but I received a letter in the mail today (4 days after receiving the admissions packet) that told me I was accepted and that I would receive an additional $15k scholarship renewable for six years.

^ Wow… congratulations!

I got rejected :'(

Congrats koldude, but neethus1, don’t be bummed. I think there’s only like 15 spots for like 500 applications. I got rejected too when I applied, but now I’m going to a much better law school than GW next year :)

Thanks for the advice, and wow, that’s awesome! Congrats gwsenior :)

Out of curiosity, where are you going for law school gwsenior? And how common is it for GWU graduates to attend the top 20 law schools in the country? Thanks.

It is pretty common for GW students to go to top law schools. The GW name has little to do with it, however; more important is getting a good GPA and a great LSAT score. I’ll PM you where I’m going.
