there is a 6 year M.D program at University of Missouri kansas city, it is adviced to go to 6 year program if you get in? like i have known no one from my school who went to 6 year program, but my dad says it will be much faster than 8 year program..

is this advised?

Its faster but many people say you miss the experience. A friend of mine who is finishing his residency advised me against shortened combined programs, he said its better to take in those extra two years of life experience, it will help you in the future. It really is up to you.

It all depends on what you want out of your college years; are you the sort that wants to finish university start working as a doctor as quickly as possible? Or do you want to be able to relax a bit and take more classes that interest you in addition to the premed requirements? (correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that with the 6 year programs, students will really only have time to complete the premed requirements and possibly take a few electives). Also, is money for tuition an issue for you and your family?
