6 yr law program

is there a such thing as a 6 or 7 year law program?

All law “programs” are 7 years - 4 years of undergrad and 3 years of law school. I’m not aware of any 6 year programs.

Your failure to hear of them hardly means that they don’t exist. There are a number of schools that offer exactly what the OP was asking about, including:

Adelphi University (partnered w/NYU)
Marquette University
Union College

There are of course some others that offer this set up. Generally though, colleges are more inclined to offer 7-year “pre-professional” programs that allow undergrads automatic admission to their law school under certain terms.

Here’s another one, if this program still exists:

Creighton University has a 6 year law program, with an emphasis (BA) in Business.

These aren’t programs within the same school but Knox College is part of a program that allows you to do three years of college and then to go either the U of Chicago Law School or Columbia Law School. Occidental College has the same program but just with Columbia.

Columbia has a program where you complete your undergrad in three years and do law for the last three. It’s very difficult to complete in time, however, so very few do it.
