No, I just seriously didn’t want to go.
She’s been trying to get me to memorize this song (Sofeggietto ~ C.P.E. Bach) for the past month or so and she wanted it completely memorized by today, but I just haven’t had time (read: made time) to memorize it, so I decided to spare both of us the aggravation xD. Thankfully, it’s mostly broken chords in sequences, so it won’t take a lot of time … once I actually get around to it.</p>
<p>& I never practice… ever. I’m a pretty good sight reader now though, lol.</p>

Neither do recitals. My teacher & I always get into spats about this xD. She’ll ask me if I want to go, I’ll say no, and then she’ll list off all the benefits of me playing in said recital, and I’ll still say no thanks, and then she’s like, “oh you’ll be fine!” and signs me up anyway while saying that I’ll be fine. At that point I just give up.</p>

<p>Piano is seriously the boringest thing ever. I used to play saxophone whih was pretty ool. Then I sold it to afford a trip to Thailand. So now all I have is my trusty piano.</p>
<p>Edit- lldm21 ME AND MY TEAHER HAVE THOSE SAME FIGHTS. I hate reitals. I ant memorize things. One time I messed up this lementi sonatina and I literally ended up playing the first movement like 3 times ause i ouldnt find my spot and it was just terrible and gahh. havent done a reital sine. Also I got disqualified permanently from ertifiate of Merit so… that’s done.</p>
