65% Chemistry Subject Score: Should I report it?

Hi everyone,

I am applying to mostly biochemistry/molecular biophysics programs around the country. I have a 4.00 GPA at a 2nd tier private university, 2 years of lab experience in the same lab, a summer internship program at a reputable institution out of which a paper has been submitted and I am a co-author. I have some conference presentations experience.

And I am an international student studying in the US. I took the GRE test without completing Physical Chem (if that means anything).

Only two of the programs I am applying to require the subject test. Should I send the subject score (65% chemistry GRE) to other schools I am applying to?

Thanks a lot.

And ya, my General GRE scores were 800 M/ 590 V/ 4.5 AW.

Considering your experience and your general GRE scores no you should not submit to schools that don't require it. I think that considering your GPA and research experience there isn't a question about whether you are knowledgeable in your field and your score is a bit low to improve the application so I would leave off.

ive heard that anything under 70% raises some flags, so no, you shouldnt report it if its not required
