690 bio would hurt the chance?

My D needs to send SAT scores to Colleges now. (collegeboard says that it will take 3-4 weeks to process and as you know, the deadline is Jan. 1)
She has 800 in Math 2, 690 in Bio M. And she's going to take December bio test again hoping to raise her 690 bio score.

She's about to send all her scores now. How bad to show 690 bio score if she can improve the score on December test? Especially in top tier schools?

Or Do you think it would be better to wait until December 23 and then send everything at that time as regular delivery? My D told me that some school say that it's OK (Brown and Williams) but I feel little bit worry for sending scores at the very last minute. But if admission officer says it's OK, then it should be fine..?

Thank you for your help in advance.

When my S was taking the SATII all previous scores were submitted when you sent new ones. If that is still the case, colleges will know about the 690 if she sends in the Dec. score later, so what’s the harm in sending it now? Other than the double expense, I mean.

If you can actually choose the scores you send now, as I vaguely remember reading somewhere… I’d still send them twice. An 800 in M2 is very impressive, and next to a 690 in Bio it will still look impressive. My S had a 660 on his first Math 2 test, and he sent it along with the others. When he achieved a 750 on his second try, he sent his scores again. He was admitted to several good schools. If, for any reason, however, NO scores arrived on time for a particular school, you would be in real trouble there.
