690 on Literature

<p>So I ended up with a 690 in literature from the November test, and my two other scores are 730 US History and 710 World History.</p>

<p>I'm on the fence about retaking SAT Literature, because I heard that 690 for Literature is actually good considering Lit. is a very hard test.</p>

<p>However, others tell me that I should aim for a 750+ on Lit.</p>

<p>Now that Winter Break is coming up, I'm going to be working intensely on polishing my college apps for sure.</p>

<p>Do you guys think it's worth retaking this one test in January? I know some colleges don't accept Jan scores, but others do, and I'm aiming for 2 ivy league schools. I know my scores aren't bad, but at the same time, I wonder if a little bump in that 690 will make a difference.</p>

<p>Just saying, I got into Harvard with a 680 on Math 2. As long as the rest of your application is solid I wouldn’t worry too much. Focus on your essays more.</p>
