6th time taking

I've taken the ACT 5 times now
in order here were my scores
23
25
25
23
25

I NEED a 26. I've received two 25.25's and that means i'm only a question or two away.
Is it possible to get a 26 on the June test? I know that it seems like i have capped out but I don't believe in that. I know I can raise my score If I truly want to.

Please give me tips or any advice you have that will help me get a 26 this June.
Thanks.

and also has anyone experienced or heard that the June test is a little easier?

I think you’ve found your level.

I just don’t think I can cap out .25 of a point lower than my goal. I just don’t, sorry

what’s the big deal about 26?

its automatic admission at my university :/

hire an expensive tutor that will assign you 10+ hours of hw a week. I gaurentee you will get a 26…

What university has automatic admission for a 26?

lovelytexan, you can do it. My daughter went from a 28 in Feb. to a 32 in April. Don’t listen to these other people and start working now. Get the princeton cracking ACT book. Look at every summary of all the beginning chapters and do every single little quiz section in the front. This took my daughter about 2 weeks working on it about 20-30 min a day. Don’t move to the next section until you know why you missed the problems in the little review quizzes. When you have completed the front of the book hit a full ACT test in the back. My daughter only did one section each day and spent alot of time going over the explanations for any problems missed. She finished her review by doing the full test online. If you follow the hints they give you in the book and learn to manage time if that is an issue it should be easy to raise your score at least one point.

Take it June and do as many practice test as you can. Buy the ACT redbook and get practice tests from your GC. Yes, they have some that they will give you from free.
Like somebody mentioned before, go over the answers that you go wrong and also work on timing yourself…

Good luck

I don’t know what you want as a result of this thread… You have made about 3 or 4 others very similar to this one. When someone says “you’ve capped out” you shut them down. When someone says “you can do it” you completely disregard their comment and say “anyone else??” I’m not sure if you want pitty here or if you want people to say mostly hollow good lucks for you… I honestly doubt you have studied much either with the kind of way you act on CC. If you studied and have gotten 26’s on the practice tests, then you should be able to replicate that come ACT test day. I just don’t understand why you keep making these same exact threads…

you don’t know how much i’ve studied…but for some reason I haven’t been able to make the score I want. So don’t judge me if you have no idea who I am, or anything I’ve gone through.

I’m posting a few because they are spaced out between months…hoping for new people to give me advice and wanting more feedback. Every time I’ve recieved more and more help and it pushes me to do well.

If you don’t like reading the same types of post, then don’t. Nobody asked you to read/comment on my thread.

I have been making above 26’s on all my practice exams but I always trip up on the actual test for some reason. So thats why I believe that I haven’t capped out, because I am capable. I’m accepting to any who say that I have and that their opinion not mine.

Thanks.

What input exactly are you expecting? If you have already hit your 26, you KNOW you can hit that 26, what do you WANT us to tell you? Should we run through every strategy to taking the ACT? We dont need to because you are ALREADY getting the score you want.

Here I’ll tell you want you want to hear. “Good luck!!! Just remember to get there early and don’t forget to RELAX!! It’s super important!! Oh and have all your materials ready the day before!! Oh and pack a snack!!”

This should be basics for you by now.

You can make a 26. You’re so close. Good luck!!! Just remember to get there early and don’t forget to RELAX!! It’s super important!! Oh and have all your materials ready the day before!! Oh and pack a snack!!

Lol, olleger.

If you have three 25’s already, of course 26 is possible.
