7/8 Year Med Programs

I am entering my junior year of high school this September. I am interested in any 7 year medical program, but if that is not possible I will have to shift my focus to the 8 year programs. I know that my GPA needs some work, and I will need to do better on the SAT than the PSAT. I was wondering with my grades, is it possible to get into a 7 year? or should I be more focused on looking at 8 year schools? Can you also please name any colleges that I could be getting into/ have a potential shot of acceptance? Thanks for all your time.

-SAT: have not taken yet, 2150 on PSAT
-GPA: 3.8 unweighted
-Will have taken 6 AP courses by senior year and 5 honors courses.

Extra Curriculars:
-worked on research for 2 years as of senior year at Rutgers U with professor
-4 years of varsity track + xc
-200+ volunteer hours around the community
-300+ volunteer hours at local hospitals
-100+ volunteer hours as coach
-4x honor roll by senior year
-National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society
-2 years of honors band

AP Tests:
we are not allowed to take AP classes until junior year

SAT Subject:
Biology (m)= 800
Chemistry= 770
Math II= taking this year

It truly depends on the program. You are in the running for 7-year programs, especially if you boost your GPA and SAT. It is incredibly random, but either way with the research and volunteer etc, (providing the research is pertinent to medicine), you should be in the running.

thanks, are 8 year programs possible as well?

Yes, you are great for both!
