Hey guys,

Would it matter whether I complete my 7 course breadth requirements before transfer? Will it affect my chances if I don't complete it before transfer?

Are you completing the IGETC if you’re applying in Letters and Science? Yeah not completing those would affect your chances.

According to this stie, [ASSIST Report: SFCITY 10-11 UCB Articulation Agreement by Major](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST)
it says I only need to complete the English, Math, and foreign language part. On [ASSIST Report: SFCITY 10-11 UCB GE/Breadth Articulation Agreement](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST) , it says that the 7 course breadth must be completed before graduation from BERKELEY.

Lastly, <a href=“Redirect Notice”>Redirect Notice;
doesn’t mention that I need to complete the 7 course- breadth either.

You’re right. You only need to finish English, Math, and Foreign language. If you don’t then you’re in a lot of trouble (lower priority than other applicants who have finished it and most likely a rejection). I mean UCB is very competitive.

Btw you go to CCSF? So do I =D!

Anyway look at the pdf file you linked. First page, right below the Selection part.

We admit applicants primarily on the basis of academic performance and preparation, as assessed by a review of:

It would be completely stupid if Berkeley admits people who didn’t finish breadth requirements since they want people to graduate early.
