7 Credits during summer?

Hey, im a freshman right now and because I work I took only 13 credits this semester (5 classes, 4 physical and 1 online). I'm looking to join the air force soon and I need 7 more credits to be eligible for extra rank you are allowed to receive for college credits. I was wondering if 7 credits during the summer is too many? I understand 6 is considered full time, but I need 7. I want to ship out as soon as possible. The college I will be attending offers a 4 week summer course it seems.. June --> July. So this shouldn't be that bad.

Help is much appreciated, thank you!

Uh, if a normal course is 12 weeks and it gets shoved into 4 weeks, that usually means that 7 credits would be about equal to 21 or so in a normal semester. I don’t know what your classes look like, but unless everything you plan to take is some BS humanities class, 7 credits in 4 weeks sounds like too much. (Does your school offer multiple sessions over the summer? If you can spread it out between two sessions or something it’d definitely be doable.)

7 credits in four weeks is a LOT. I’m with failure 622 on this one- if your college offers multiple sessions, take advantage of that! Mine for example offers three sessions: one that’s like a regular semester and takes up the whole summer, one thats May/June (5 weeks) and one that’s June/July (also 5 weeks).

If I were you and my college had multiple sessions, I would take one class one session and the other the next- there is also probably one credit classes (like yoga or swimming) that you could try to use to get you up to 7.

I need 7 credits I don’t care about the course load I have great focus
and timeliness.
I called them to check about that session thing. They do not have it. Summer is actually about 6 weeks. June 3, to July 26. I’m gonna take some liberal arts classes. I just need the credits. God I sound like Feign

2, 3 hour classes and a 1 credit one won’t be that bad. That’s probably a few meets a week. I’ll probably have them online too

I think you’ll be fine. At my school, the maximum amount of credits you could take during one of the 6-week summer sessions is 8. So basically, two science with labs.

As a prior AF member I know they accept CLEPS. I am sure you could probably find a few that you could ace. I completely a huge chunk of my BS that way and my AAS through CCAF. They are about 65 a piece to take but worth it to save time and money.

I took 7 credits over six week. It depends on the class but I would say it’s totally do-able so long as you try to take only one difficult class.
