7 year med program

Hello,

I was wondering if I should apply to University of Miami’s 7 year HPME medical program or take the traditional 8 year route. I am interested in medicine but I would like to enjoy the college experience as well. Are there any past applicants to this program who would have any suggestions about what to do? Also, I was wondering if it is possible to still get merit scholarships if you apply to the 7 year program and whether it would be a more expensive program in the long route or not.

Are you able to apply to both the program and just the school itself? I’m not 100% sure but I think they also have a program that you apply to after freshman year. Good luck
