<p>What is more impressive to college adcoms? A 710-750 in Lit, or an 800 in Physics?</p>
<p>I am taking three SAT II's, and I got an 800 in Math IIC. I think I can score an 800 (hopefully) in US, and am pretty confident I could get an 800 in Physics. </p>
<p>However, I plan to major in the liberal arts and don't want a math/science label stuck on me. So what's more impressive, a string of 800's, or two 800's and a noble swing at the hardest subject test there is?</p>
<p>Both are awesome but when considering your major the second one might be more impressive.</p>

<p>Foil, I see no reason to take 4 subject tests. I'm trying to find out which 3 out of a possibility of 4 would make me a stronger applicant.</p>

<p>800 Math IIC, 800 US, 800 Physics</p>
<p>OR</p>
<p>800 Math IIC, 800 US, 700-750 Lit</p>
<p>Something a little more substantiated than, "Stab a pencil at a random one," would be appreciated :)</p>
<p>What's all the big fuss about? You already have a "humanity" subject in there, so 800 800 800 would be more impressive IMO.</p>

<p>Cuz it could be your ticket in. You could show academic initiative, intellectual curiosity and primarily, you could show these amazing scores as proof of your own capacities, in the sense that you do not just do SAT IIs in order to get into college. All I am saying is that this thing that u r so grudging to do, can be the one thing that will set u apart from dozens of other candidates.</p>
<p>Why NOT take four subject tests? It doesn't sound like taking one more would be a super-huge effort for you.</p>

<p>anyhting over 700 for lit is great, and it seems you could pull 800 for physics without straining youreslf too much.</p>
