My Reading section score (620) is always low relative to Writing (720). 100 point delta! My math is 710. I think I have a comprehension or dyslexia issue, but have been too proud to address. If others have this feeling, please sound in on medical diagnostic approach (e.g., get medical note and get more time on test but then how do the top schools evaluate??) Im gunning for top 20 schools, so Im very concerned with my Reading scores.

How about practicing? If you really have a comprehension/ dyslexia issue, don’t you think you’d know by now?

People never take responsibility for their own scores.

ADD/ADHD/Dyslexia

It’s all the same so people can abuse the system and get extra time.

Have you ever considered you aren’t good at CR?

great tip…anything else?

Let me guess: did you have a very high Essay score? If so, your Writing score would be inflated, since all one needs to do well on the Essay is the ability to fill up space.

Many students with legitimate disabilities neglect to ask for more time to take the SAT, and it has been shown that those students who do have more time perform significantly better. Therefore, if you believe you have a real pressing problem that’s interfering with your test-taking success, you should do something about it.

The top universities would know, but their knowledge would not adversely affect your application.
