<p>I truly don't think a 60 point difference on a standardized math test is going to make or break your admission to a college... and I mean ANY college... tell your parents the 740 is fine. You don't need 800's to get into the top schools. You're stressing yourself out and wasting your time for no reason. Accept the 740 and show the schools you like who you are... that is what will get you in.</p>
<p>What about if you got a 700 on 1C and a 660 on 2C (just had a bad day on the 2C)? Assuming SATs are good - 2150-2250 - and everything else is very good, would that keep a NJ student out of schools like upenn, colubmia, jhu, ucberkeley?</p>
