I’m applying to Columbia College ED and am interested in the humanities, not STEM. I have a 33 ACT and haven’t taken my other subject test yet (French) but am hoping to get 770+. I’m retaking the ACT in September to get a 34 because I was just one question away from a 34 on my June test. I think a 34 is pretty attainable at this point… but should I retake Math II as well and shoot for an 800 or at least 770+? Will a 750 hurt me?
Not at all. 750 is a GREAT score. Other people will try to say unless you have an 800 in Math II you won’t get into any colleges, but that’s simply not true. 750+ is a wonderful score, congratulations!
