790 on SAT I Math, Shaky Precalc Background...Math 1 or 2 Subject Test?

I'm set to take subject tests on December 3, and I'd been planning to take Math Level 2, but I'm beginning to rethink. It's complicated, but even though I've had math through Calculus and Stats, my Precalc background isn't very good, so the Barron's practice tests are killing me. Through Algebra 2, I'm pretty solid (790 on SAT I Math). Even though Math 1 has a harsher curve, could it be a better choice? How similar is it to regular SAT Math?

I got 790 for regular sat math and 800 for math 2 subject. i did get b range grade in precalc hn. (ironic that i am getting a in calc bc)

sat2 math2 curve is pretty nice so even if u miss 4-5 u cAn still get 800.
barrons is usually much harder than real ones so if u miss less than 10 in barrons
uwill probably get 800

and i storngly recommend mTh 2 because many colleges prefer math 2 to math1 and its harder to get 800 in math 1 Although questions are much easier

Just take both… It will only be an extra hour/$20.

Math1 is very similar to the SAT math section, so it does not add any information. You should take math2. As Urban said above, the curve is nicer and you can get a few wrong and still score 800
