I got my scores back today and I got a 790 on the SAT II Biology and I am really really disappointed :(. Should I retake it? I've taken SAT Math Level 1 and Level 2 and gotten 800's on both of them. Should I take it again? I really wanted to get 3 800's. My goal is to get into Harvard or MIT.

You definitely should not retake it. An MIT admissions officer himself posted that it made no difference what you got as long as it’s a 750+. Focus on other parts of your app instead.

Thank you for the very quick and helpful reply, rainbowrose! Do you mind sending me the link to this article (I’m not doubting you, I just want to know if there is anything else of interest in the article). :)

Do not re-take. The 10 points isn’t gonna matter. Focus on something more worthwhile.

Uff, I got a 780 and I’m way disappointed! And I really wanna go to Caltech :(

I’m sorry it wasn’t an article it was a random thread :(. I think it was posted by MITChris
If you want you can go through his 866 posts lol. Sorry I’m not of much help.
