I would normally be very happy with a 790, but the thing is, I want to study physics in university, so the 790 sort of bad. Should I retake?

no
it wont make a difference
universities know that you have the ability to retake to get an 800. why risk it? its not like the 790 will be totally erased if you do retake

no, don't, 790 is as good as a 800, chill dude.

the physics test is considered really really hard, which is why it has such a generous curve
a 790 is freaking fantastic, dont even sweat it.

lol another CCer's post?

790... I wonder if any normal person would ask to retake it..

We get it- you're a pr|ck.

are you joking?

I got a 730.. is that bad guys, I am very sad. For schools like Duke, where do you the SAT II score is great, 700 plus?

This is stupid.. I encourage you to retake it... Most of my friends who got 790's wound up geting 800's in Nov.

Don't if you get a lower score you will look like a f00l

Don't look the horse in the mouth. There's not a damned thing wrong with a 790. My gosh.

yeah, I aplologize. Looking back at this thread, I have come to the conclusion that I am quite stoned at 8 in the morning. I won't retake, thanks anyways guys

This thread was interesting...

HUH! Are you kidding?

anything 700+ is considered great for SAT IIs....they look at SAT I more than they look at SAT IIs....they just quickly glance that you got all 700s and then they look at other things...this is for those "academically qualified"

focus on your essays....SATs are done...go to sleep or something
