I got a 790 on the USH on the may sat. Although this is obviously a good score, I am absolutely positive that I can get an 800. Given that I have already signed up for mathII in June, would it be worth it to take USH again to get an 800, would it look that much better for college? Also, if I decide not to, I will end up only taking math II becuase I would not do very well on any other subject.

I do not think it will look much better. If you get an 800 that would certainly be nice but if you mess up it may look bad having a lower score the second time so I wouldn’t retake it.

it will yield you no marginal benefit.

no do not waste your time.

10 points isn’t going to make or break you.

If the discrepancy were 40 points or greater, then you should take it again.

alright thanks, I guess i agree, if i get rejected over 10 points by a school, then I should not want to go to that school anyways.
