Please post your scores for a statistical comparison.
Mine: 2240: 710 math, 740 verbal, 790 writing.

Also: For the Duke Talent Search, how do you get scholarships for the programs they offer? I haven't gotten the broshures yet but I will in April.

ookay...
im not trying to show off....... it really is a project i have. I really am mad at myself. you are right about not being impressed. Im not either.
This comparison project is important to me.

with all due respect, academicsrule, stop trying to show off. you are, i know. you just look like a pathetic loser. anyone can find the stuff ur looking for on google. and as for comparison stats, i doubt you need SAT scores for a project in middle school. "I really am mad at myself." Right. for a 2240. which is probably the highest score of a Duke TIPer and one of the higher ones for a high school senior...don't be an idiot, and even if you're bored, stop p-i-s-s-ing ppl like me and Ashraf Eassa off.

wow. didn't know that was coming. k. thanks, i looked at the website. it was a project for which we could choose a topic to research. I really wanted to compare myself to others and see exactly what percentile I'm in.
also: first of all, there are people who got at least 2 800's, in 7th grade. the highest i've heard of is a 2290. secondly, i am mad for not acheiving up to potential, not neccesarily about the score itself. I'm sorry about any misconceptions, because those are all a matter of understanding and accepting the way people think.

oh yeah, and i prefer yahoo to google. the duke site was very helpful, but i needed a few things which were more exact, such as exact individual scores and percentiles. I found what Ashraf Eassa was talking about and am very grateful to her for mentioning it, because it supplied some of the info. i posted there because that's what it said to do.

fyi, to "look something up on google" is more of an expression that means to look something up online....so feel free to use yahoo, nobody cares.

p.s.
if u ask other ppl's scores on CC, trust me, u are not going to feel smarter...and i dont think it would be accurate for you "statistical analysis" either.

Well, academicsrule, the main reason quite a few people are expressing annoyance with you is that you're complaining about an extremely good score.

When I joined a few high-IQ societies a while back, I met people with IQs that edged mine out. I could have been 'disappointed' in myself and I could have kept on taking tests until my score rose a few points, but I realized that, in the grand scheme of things, it's not all that big of a deal.

So, I say this to you, it's not a big deal that there's a kid with a 2290 and your SAT score is still very good .

(by the way, I see that you've referred to me as a female in several posts. I am, in fact, male :))

Gee academics rule, I find it a bit odd that you supposedly got a 790 on the writing and the highest reported writing score for the Duke talent search was 750. You must be extra special .

Here's a link for SAT and ACT percentiles for 7th graders:

"Gee academics rule, I find it a bit odd that you supposedly got a 790 on the writing and the highest reported writing score for the Duke talent search was 750. You must be extra special ."

"so, yes i could have the highest score THIS year. sry 4 the double post."

This is why everyone is annoyed with you. You supposedly have one of the highest scores of all, yet you are upset with it. Less than 1% of college bound seniors score 2240 or above, so for you to complain about it in 7th grade makes you look like a total loser. It's like a valedictorian with a 2400 SAT worrying about getting into community college.

...or just stop posting in general. no one is fooled by your little scheme, trying to get as many people to either ask why you took it so young, or how you got such a high score. i'm being serious when i say take up a hobby or something, maybe a sport, because test scores aren't everything these days. also, most top schools require interviews, and modesty can go a long way.
