7th grade SAT: 560 Verbal/630 Math = 1190
11th grade SAT: 730 Verbal/800 Math = 1530
11th grade new SAT: 800 Verbal/800 Math/730 Writing = 2330

7th: 650M/450V
11th: 800M/670CR/720W

its funny how so many of us beat the national average for seniors in 7th grade. haha

7th: 690 V/ 550 M
11th: 800 V/ 680 M

7th: 650M/560V

I was only in the first part of pre-algebra at the time, so I was pleased with the math score. I christmas treed the last verbal section because I got so bored.

11th: 800M/730V. I still hate the verbal portions, but I obviously made myself finish this time.

7th grade: 570 Math, 510 Verbal
11th Grade: 750 Math, 690 Verbal

misterme2009 - well this is CC lol :)

6th grade-450 M/390 V
7th grade-?
11th grade-780 M/750 V

Hahah that is quite the progression.

indeed....but if you think about it, it makes sense...at 6th grade i was only half way through flippin algebra, and anyone whose been through middle school knows that the **** you learn is useless...

by the time I was a junior I had finished calculus a year ago, and by then had picked up a decent vocabulary...I probably should have studied I could have picked up a 1600 (well minus the dumb mistake or two on the math)

I almost forgot. I had no idea what was going on with that SAT when i was in 6th grade, someone in my family signed me up for it with my sister who was 4 years older than me, she had stuck me with a TI83 which i didn't even know how to use, and I got tired of sitting in that chair afer the first test. not to mention me being in the 4 foot range made me extremely intimidated to high school juniors and seniors.

Aww!

Argh, I don't know how to boost my verbal like whoa. I hate being unbalanced (SAT-ically speaking)!

Wow, in my county even the "advanced" kids aren't allowed to take algebra until 8th grade. I envy you.

theo: I was always really bad at english/writing/language arts until I was in high school, even though I never really read the books in school.

if you want to do well on the verbal SAT pick up a good vocabulary, I always had a good memory and I started studying for vocab tests before the late bell would ring in class just a few minutes before i would take them..I pretty much always got 100%. so I really got a good vocabulary there and that helped on the SAT verbal for me.

hamster: just wondering where you from? you really have no reason to envy me. I will admit that in middle school I thought I was hot **** because I was in math with people 2 years older than me, then I got out and found that there were kids my age learning calculus in high school/college, and that killed my ego. hah

will the SAT scores from grade7/8 be deleted from the score report? if so, whennn? They have not deleted my grade 8 scores and i took it at 2004 Nov and 2005 Jan (i was grade 8 on both exams). STILL WAITING FOR COLLEGEBOARD TO DELETE THE SCORES!

student91: They'll delete them. If you take a test in high school and they aren't deleted, call them.

bubblekid: I do that for vocab tests, too. But I have a better short term memory than long term one for things like brute memorization. However, SC's are not the problem anyway. I only get a couple of them wrong - which I'm planning to change by my November SAT. It's the CR that gets me for some reason.

Grade 8: 600 M, 670 V
Grade 11: 720 M, 800 CR, 770 W

7th - 25 Composite
9th - 30 Composite
10th - 32 Composite

Didn't take Junior year, but taking the Oct 22 test date. Hoping to make a 34-35 on my final attempt.

Son had ACT 21 composite in Feb. of 6th grade. 35 composite at the end of 10th grade.

How's this for depressing?

8th grade: 33 composite (36 reading, 35 English, 33 science comp, 26 math)
11th grade: 33 composite (36 reading, 36 English, 30 science comp, 31 math)

I was pretty irritated in 11th grade when I opened the envelope to see the same score I had gotten in 8th...

(Told to me by a "friend":)

6th SAT 570V 800M

7th ACT 21Eng 35Math 31Read 28Sci for a 29 composite

No higher grade scores yet. SAT scores have disappeared from College Board online records, but of course are recorded on paper. Member of SET.
