How much are the 7th semester grades actually weighed in admission? Especially for the UC's.

At least for typical students applying as high school seniors, UCs consider the self-reported courses but not the grades for senior year. However, they may rescind admission if the final high school transcript shows different courses or poor grades (generally any D or F grades or a senior year GPA under 3.0, but check the conditions attached to the admission offer carefully).

Other colleges may want a mid-year report so that they can consider the grades earned in fall semester of your senior year.

Ok thanks, the UC’s are the most important to me so this is good since I am not doing as well as I would have liked this year. Does anyone know about other universities.

Every school D applied to, all 10+ of them, require 1st semester grades. Some will even request 2nd semester midterm grades - at least that’s the working assumption until we know otherwise or get acceptances.
