I used schedulizer and came up with a schedule with 8 classes/20 credits as a freshman engineer. 8 classes sounds like a whole heck of a lot, any advice:
Math 1920 - 4 credits
Chem 2070 - 4 credits
Hist (FWS) - 3 credits
CEE 3080 (Intro to Cadd) - 1 credit
PE something - 1 credit
ENGRG 1050 - 1 credit
ENGRI 1190 - 3 credits
ENGRI 1120 - 3 credits

It's a ton of classes but then there are 3 single credit classes and I did take MV calc in high school so hopefully that won't be killer..
Also, I am opting to take Physics 2nd semester, is this particularly unwise?

I could drop the Cadd class, but its only one credit, also I may want to take only one ENGRI class, but 1190 sounds very interesting wheras 1120 is relevant to me right now because I'm debating whether I want to major in Chemical Engineering.

you don’t need to take PE your freshman year. I guess my advice is start out with those classes and then drop any if you need too. I did something similar my freshman year (5 classes + PE and a music group) so 21 credits, I think, and sort of wish I took less.

engrg 1050 and pe aren’t real classes, they take up time during the day but there is little to no outside work. Not sure about cee 3080.

Thta leaves you with 5 classes plus cee 3080 which is a bit much for your first semester but not unreasonable unless cee 3080 is time consuming which it might be since cadd drawings can take a while.

I’m planning on taking 5 classes most of the rest of my semesters, took 5 last semester. I only took 4 first semester though.

I was scheduling in 2070 because I could not find 2090 on schedulizer and they have the same title.
I searched just now and it appears that they are the same class but 2090 is generally for engineers and 2070 for some other group? Not entirely sure. In any case they should be the same number of credits and hopefully 2090 is still offered enough times to avoid schedule conflicts.
But no one thinks putting off physics is an awful idea? I’m just kind of sick of physics at this point in my life, lol.

^ no it still exists. They just automatically enroll you if you do not have AP credit. If you do have AP credit, you have to petition to be accepted into it because there is limited space.
