Wish I had a tranquilizer or something, this insomnia crap is really getting on my nerves

I wish I had insomnia. It’s 4:30 in the morning, i’ve been up all night cramming for my Bio final at 8am…I have like 2 more hours I can study and then the stupid test should be 3 hrs long, then I can nap…it’s my own fault though for procrastinating so much. i’ll just have to re-learn most of this crap next summer before the mcats too. Should’ve worked harder.

but good luck to getting some sleep…maybe you should get some sleeping pills? ask around, someone might have them.

I’m studying 2 months worth of stats

I’m glad I’m not the only one suffering right now.

<3

I’ll trade you my insomnia. I’ll enjoy prolonged life, and you’ll enjoy being wide awake when the rest of your hemisphere of the globe is asleep. :)

I have never had even remote insomnia since high school, if that. The two or three nights I may have had it in the past 4 years will typically due to extreme stress or preoccupation with an impending event (NOT a silly “exam”).

Here’s some tips.

Get more sunlight.

Workout/ exercise/ engage in physical activity during the day.

Eat more. Digestion saps your energy.

Make the room slightly cold - this promotes sleep.

Personally, I love sleep. I’m always going at full throttle non-stop throughout the day, that my bed is my repreive from the chaos.

Oh I’m studying a semester’s worth of Stat. Crap. Don’t know it. And then 2 finals on Friday plus a paper. I’m screwed.

Oh, it’s not the exams that are depriving me of sleep. Day 1 I could not sleep because I had 3 finals that day and my mind was too active, just tossed and turned for 2 hours. Day 2 my suitemates were playing World of War Crack, were talking too loudly for me to be fall asleep- also had to wake up at 7:30. Today is day 3, and as you can tell by the time (its 3:44 AM here) I’m not having any luck today either.

Sick of exams, papers, professors, dorms, college. Need home.

Lets see… Didnt get any sleep before attending school today, basically stayed up all night ( I tried to sleep). Before going to school Monday, didn’t get any sleep either, as well as a another time the week before. Though I think this may be due to my allergic reaction, which I may have found the cause.

I’ve been getting <5 hours of sleep for the past 3 years. I have about 300 pages of APUSH review to go over tonight. Don’t think I’ll be changing my habits tonight…

I just can’t wait for my first finals week of college. -twitches-

get someone to punch you very hard in the chin. you will go to sleep

Lol, to most people 8 hours of sleep is plenty.

Unless you mean cumulatively, in which case, welcome to the club!

^I’m pretty sure he meant cumulatively. I have the same problem now. Med school + raising a baby = major sleep issues. I’m lucky to get two hours a night cuz of insomnia.

We accept you! We accept you! One of us! One of us!
Gooble gobble, gooble gobble! One of us! One of us!

Yay, another late night studying for finals!

yay i’LL JOIN THE CLUB@
i was at the animation lab (it’s a dungeon with stuffy air and crappy computers, thanks USC) from 6 pm to 4 am yesterday… and I still haven’t gotten much done. I hate 3d. I rather write a paper and I hate writing papers T_T

I’ve never been in the animation lab before…actually I didn’t even know there was one, lol. Yay for Club Leavey!

It’s in the basement of the Lloyd sound stage next to SCA where they crowded the entire animation department until the animation building gets completed in 2010 (I won’t be here for that =_= DAMN YOU USC!!!) it’s cool animation department gets its own new facility though, half the time they treat us like the ■■■■■■■ children of the Cinematic Arts school lolll

I had a stretch during finals where I slept 22 hours in a week (7 days). Needless to say, I was feeling like a zombie afterwards… I slept for 15 hours straight when that was over.

i came home friday after a week of exams & moving out & a night of end-of-year partying, and i slept for like 12 hours straight, ate some dinner, and immediately went back to bed until the next morning…
