Is there any way to take 8 out of 16 units P/NP?

The 8 units are basically 2x4 unit breadth and R&C classes. The other 2x4units are prereqs.

If you're in good academic standing, you're allowed to take 1/3 of your total units P/NP.

Means you could take all of this semester's class P/NP, probably, as long as it wouldn't put your total P/NP units over 33%.

I don't think you can take R&C classes P/NP, check for yourself.

Oh, that's a fair point. I was going by the original question (regarding number of units) rather than type of units.

There are some classes that you cannot take P/NP -- if you do, they won't fulfill the requirement. Check the L&S site.

kenf1234 is right. You need to take your R&C class for credit or it won't count. Why are you doing it P/NP anyways?
