I payed my deposit a couple weeks ago, but my undergraduate grant went up ~$1000 (could have been $800). So my question, did they credit the deposit fee to my grant? Or did I just get more money for being sexy.

Payed = fail

You got money for being sexy? Lies.

Did they revise it after they got all your financial aid information? Your deposit doesn’t effect your financial aid amount.

Shaking my head…

They revised it a couple weeks ago when they got the last of my stuff. Then today, it went up randomly. Being sexy seems like the best reason. Or maybe they heard I had a 12/1 kill ratio in COD last night.

I was just making sure they didn’t credit the deposit to my grant. Thanks

Physicsdude-- don’t major in business. (smile)

You’ll get an invoice in July - it will show credits and debits.

You’ll see all the charges (of which there is not only tuition, room and board-- but a housing reservation fee and a ton of stupid fees – about 25,000 in total)
Offset by.:

And on the other side, there will be credits-- including 1/2 of your financial aid amounts and the 800 paid for a deposit.

For a final amount due August 15. Interest accrues by September 1.

There’s an interest free - pay over 10 month plan from Tuition Management Services- you’ll get info in the mail.
You’re going to get ALOT of mail over the next two-three months- don’t rip it up- and make sure you open and read it all. Some valuable.
(unvaluable- renting a mega fridge for more than the cost of buying one at Walmart or Target, unvaluable-- the bathroom package-- fancy sheets, blankie, bathroom and slippers for more than the cost of your books !)

Chill - bill comes later and you will see it online on SIO too.

I’m chill…I saw my grant went up and wanted to make sure I’m allowed to be happy about it.

I suspect your parents are more happy about it!

Everyone pays $800 regardless of their financial situation- it’s then posted to your account.
If you look at SIO now, you’ll see a balance there in your favor of $800.
Over the next few months stuff will be added.

One of the hidden ways to know what dorm you’re assigned (well before the note from housing) is to see the charge on SIO sometime in June.
