800 math - 2060 Ivies?

<p>S has 800 Math, 660 Writing, 600 Reading. 95 UWGPA, 114 WGPA looking at CS or CE.</p>

<p>Already has RPI Medals Scholarship so with that in the bag, is it worth trying Yale, Brown, Cornell and MIT? </p>

<p>Part of me says 800 in Math sure he's got a shot, but I think he'd rather not waste the time if he doesn't have a prayer. </p>

<p>Thoughts?</p>

<p>800 in Math is not uncomon but 800 in Cr is. Ivys will be looking at that number. If he can increase CR score that would be helpful. Nobody can say that he doesn’t have a prayer but it is always an uphill task getting into prestigious schools.</p>
