800 Math Tips/Study Guide Recommendations?

I already have the official blue book and the other text that comes with ten real SAT exams from previous years. The first time I took the SAT, my total was roughly 1800.

I recently took it again (just to have an 800 on my writing) and pulled a perfect 12 essay and 800 for the section. Right now I'm working on bumping my CR, but I'm struggling with math. I've talked to a lot of friends and some of my instructors and they seem to think that if you can score an 800 on ANY section, you probably have the potential to score in the 700 range on the other two.

Just for clarification, I'm a senior but plan to transfer after freshman year to (hopefully) Cornell (thus, I am taking the exam again this year).

Any help, guys? Thanks in advance.

Get Gruber’s SAT Guide for Math. I improved 100 points in Math alone as a result of using it. 700 M in May '09, 800 M in January '10. :)

Yeah Grubers has so much useful information in it like all the different shortcuts/“cheats”

Why are you struggling?

Practice and know the solutions.

Know the solution to every problem. If you just plug’n’chugged, find the right way to do it. This will accustom you to the style of the questions and learn how logic is applied on the SAT.
